My Creative Soul Quest
I have always loved to create! Throughout the years, I have tried many different forms of artistic expression, searching for the one that resonated with my soul and sparked excitement deep inside. SoulQuest Designs “Jewelry for your Journey” came into being in 2012. My business is the realization of a long ago dream to make my passion for creating art, my life’s work. As my journey continues to unfold, I discover guidance from the positive intentions I set. These affirmations emerge in my poetic verse and heartfelt jewelry and are meant to encourage and uplift the recipients of my pieces.
My designs begin with researching a cultural, ancient or contemporary symbol that evokes a particular emotion or feeling. I then carve a mold for the symbol using the skills I learned as a woodworker. Precious metal clay made from recycled silver is used to create an impression of the symbol which is then fired in a kiln. This process burns off all the clay particles to birth a pure metal charm in fine silver. The symbolic charms are the focal points in the making of a bracelet, necklace or earrings intending to connect with a particular person through the energy that it embodies.
I am truly honored and grateful when a client contacts me to create a piece of jewelry specifically for them or their business. Working together, I help bring their vision into reality, making a one of a kind, exclusive piece. I embrace the challenges that these unique designs present which expands my skills, inspires my imagination and continues to ignite the fire deep within my soul.
