Hi I'm Kevin, I've always been a crafter, some of my earliest memories are of making things. I've always been a Steampunk too but I didn't know that until I found some steampunk stuff on the Internet. It's a combination of my love of making things and mechanical devices, steam engines and most things Victorian.
I used to make items in stained glass, the day after I discovered steampunk I made my first Steampunk kaleidoscope, and now I make anything which may appeal to steampunks.
So that's basically anything which appeals to me!
Sometimes it's hard to say where the inspiration comes from, often it's very simple. We steampunks like walking canes so naturally I try to make canes which are different from the ones you would normally find. Jewellery can be a little more difficult to describe or "pigeon hole". I may get ideas from reading old Gothic novels or modern steampunk novels, but once I get an idea I have to try and make it.
