A Short History

This is one of my three Etsy shops and I am absolutely loving it! I love the independence and the freedom that comes along with it. I have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember,. Eventually it evolved into wearable art. I began by wrapping stones (not all that well I might add) but it was a huge success back in the 90's when it was quite out of the ordinary to be creating and selling your wares in the midwest. When I had my 1st child I made a lot of my own clothes. After selling a few dresses, headbands, and vests, I gave the sewing machine a rest. It was hard using one older than I was! I focused on my jewelry once again. I had many years of selling items here and there, but I had to give it all up when I became a single mom. Eventually I was able to get back to creating. I have loved the progress and growth in my companies and in myself. I still have a couple or things I created over 25 years ago, and it is amazing how the things I have created have changed! And all for the better :)
