Welcome to my world of whimsical creatures and botanically themed ceramic art! Most of my creations have been hand sculpted from stoneware or porcelain clay.
You may know me as ALD Designs, which started as a lampworking business that has evolved into a ceramic business.
As an outdoors enthusiast I take my inspiration from my regular woodland walks where I collect all interesting items to use in my art work. I make many of my own tools from acorn caps, leaves, tree bark, and twigs because I love the natural textures.
My home studio is located right on the edge of the Ocala National Forest, where it's common to see all kinds of beautiful wildlife right outside my window!
At this time I do not offer any wholesale discounts. Most of my creations are "at will" and I do not often repeat the exact item again. I'm constantly "tweaking" my art so it's always evolving. When you buy something from my shop, no two items are ever exactly the same.
