Swanky Sally was inspired by my Grandmother. She took me to antique and vintage stores while I was growing up and taught me to appreciate the detail and history in antiques. As I grew up and could start to buy my own clothes at thrift stores, I noticed that I was able to find unique items that no one else at school had. Now that I work at ModCloth, I have a new appreciation for fashion. I use this Etsy store as a personal outlet for my style and others who share a similar interest. I like to think that I am finding a good home for beautiful vintage items that will be loved!

The name Swanky Sally is a combination of the definition of swanky (stylishly luxurious) and the name of my Grandmother's best friend and partner in crime, Sally. Sally passed away from Alzheimers, but we will always remember her for her sense of humor and positive attitude on life. She was bold, beautiful, and never afraid to be herself.

My boyfriend/best friend Kevin also helps me with this shop. He is in charge of photography, and never turns down an opportunity to join me in the hunt for an awesome find. We like to laugh and go on adventures.
