Announcement    I have always loved sewing and crafting especially when my children were little. I dressed my three girls in ruffles and lace until they were big enough to complain. Being born in Nashville Tennessee and raised in Georgia, they were, are, and always will be my sweet southern babies. Now that they have families of their own I had to find another way to satisfy my hunger to create.

After my father passed away several years ago I wanted to do something for my mother to lift her spirits. She loves crochet and is really good at it. I asked her to teach me. I've been "hooked" since! She lives in Nashville, Tn and I'm in Delaware but we spent many many hours every day crocheting together, via Skype. Mom was happy and I started my Etsy shop.

My very favorite items to crochet are the baptism gowns. For Christians, the baptism or christening of your child is every bit as significant as their birth. I feel so very honored to be making the dress that your little angel will be wearing on the day that begins a lifelong relationship between your baby and God.

Its important for you to know that I never use materials that I would not use for my own grandchildren. I use the softest yarn that will not irritate a baby's skin. My favorite fibers are the Bamboo Silk. It's so incredibly soft and silky and gives a beautiful drape to every dress.

I enjoy giving my friends and family things I have made. There is something to be said for choosing the color of the yarn and the item to be crocheted for people you care about and knowing they appreciate the effort you put out for them.

I can only hope, that when my friends and family wear or use the items that I have crocheted for them, they will feel that love and know it was meant for them.....from me.
