In the 1990's I started a custom ironworks shop in Ridgeland Mississippi. I first started building security doors and windows. Along with handrails, stair rails, iron fencing and those iron gates that you now see in most up scale neighborhoods. We also got involved with a couple of artists such as Gail Pittman and Vicki Carroll building coffee tables and end tables for their own ceramic overlays. After a shop fire in 1999 that destroyed my building I decided to change my direction to the custom sheet metal business. Being an avid sports fan and football tailgater at a college in south Mississippi known as University of Southern Mississippi. I had the idea of taking my knowledge of sheet metal and integrating that knowledge and the fun of tailgating together. One of my best customers gave me the idea of making logo's out of my sheet metal and selling products with logo's made into products made from sheet metal.
I obtained the tools to roll, bend and stamp steel. After a lot of practice, I was able to make 1 product with a logo from 3 of the major universities in my state. I submitted my product to the 3 schools and I was accepted within just a few days. Now 14 years later I am licensed with over 30 schools. In the last year I have been working on several new products and I hope to be able to have a few ready to sell in a few months. I am the designer of all of my products and I employ only a few other people to help me build and ship my products.
