Announcement Welcome to The BonBon Shoppe, home to truly handmade curtains and accessories! 2023 will introduce OOAK valance designs as well as hand-painted accessories. Bunkbed and under sink curtains were introduced early in the year, and WOW, have they become popular fast! Expect to see more colors and patterns in the coming weeks. Focus has moved toward shorter curtain panels with decor to match! More attention has been given to using eco-friendly materials as well. There's lots of fresh things coming, so stay tuned!

Truly Handmade Curtains and Home Decor

The BonBon Shoppe opened shyly in 2009 and came out of its' shell in 2012. Since then, it's become a popular source for finding unique curtains and home decor. My name is Shari, and I am the sole operator. designer, and manufacturer of my business. I have a long and varied background in art and design. Each item I make has emerged from an idea I had along the way, which could only be realized by making it myself. I was a "shoe-in seller" for Etsy 11 years ago because it was strictly a "handmade" marketplace then, and it was the sellers and buyers, who liked the charm of unique and handmade, that helped put Etsy on the map. Things have evolved since then. Today Etsy is more a hybrid of what it was, and what current marketplaces are dictating. But a few of us artisans have stuck around, keeping the handmade shop experience alive. I hope that all who visit my shop are Inspired to go handmade rather than ready-made, and cheaply made. After all, you can brag that you received it lightning-fast for a dime, but there's nothing better than being able to brag that it was handmade just for you.

I use this production partner to add high-grade metal grommets to my drapery panels. They have a special tool to install them which I don't have in my workroom. This way my customers will receive a better-than-store-bought quality product that's worthy to be called custom-made.
