Frequently asked questions

TUBE WRAP DESIGNS

Unless glued on the cord, tubes are movable on the cord and depending on how snug you wear the cascading wrap bracelet, the tubes will move a bit on the cord - If you want the tubes to not move, please let me know before checking out so I can press slightly on the ends of the tubes to hug the cord more snug

SIZING

I build all my bracelets and rings on a real size device for a perfect fit - Please see "Sizing Photo" in the listing for a visual of how to measure and pick correct size in the drop down menu - If unsure of the size, I offer some adjustable "one size fits most" cord designs & resizing services - Please see others FAQ's

Wholesale / Bulk Pricing

My online prices are already "wholesale priced", meaning, as low as possible - In addition I offer FLASH SALES & BULK listings for some designs (See section in my shop or click on provided link in description) - I occasionally offer additional discounts on multiple items which is stated and applied directly in your cart

BEFORE YOU BUY, Please read

Because of limited space in listing descriptions & FAQ's, please read the "ANNOUNCEMENT" on the home page where it says "read more" + all FAQ's and policies for more detailed informations & updates before you buy so you are fully informed

Please read description of listing + look at all provided photos for a clear "visual" of the choices offered in the drop down menus

Always feel free to send me an Etsy convo message to ask questions before checking out

Tarnishing Metal - Why & How to protect or Clean

Sterling silver, Copper and NuGold are famous for tarnishing regardless of their exposure to air or water, so are all plated metals as they will discolor at some point, to some degree depending on wear, skin type and environment. Tarnishing or darkening occurs because of the copper content; it is a natural occurrence

I protect some designs with a coat of jewelry shield (if stated in description) which retards the process - We recommend you do the same or apply a thin coat of clear nail polish for add'l protection depending on designs. Use a Silver cleaner for Sterling
Aluminum does not tarnish

For all Copper & NuGold cuffs, I enclose a tarnish resistant bag + a tarnish remover cloth (upon request). Please see others FAQ's

My skin looks greenish when I wear copper, brass, sterling metal

As stated in the above "tarnishing" faq, these metals, specially copper and brass have a high content of copper which speeds up discoloration and may leave a greenish or dirty mark on your skin as the chemical of your skin and sweat reacts with copper - it is very rare this happens however, some skins just don't "like copper". In this case, it is best use a jewelry Shiel varnish to protect the skin and metal or choose the same bracelet in Aluminum which doesn't tarnish - Here's an article about this subject: https://sciencing.com/arm-turn-green-copper-bracelet-6465806.html

JEWELRY SHIEL Anti tarnish varnish

We offer to coat some of our tubes / beads with a "jewelry Shield" which temporarily protects the metal from discoloring and protects the skin from potential allergies. You will notice thin brush strokes and clear coating (just like nail polish) on the tubes. Once you no longer perceive this film it means it has faded because of wear - it may fade slower / faster depending on skin and wear - Feel free to re-apply when needed

HAND STAMPED CUFFS - Material, Process & Care

ALUMINUM: High-grade food safe 1100 12 gauge, low rate skin reaction and does not tarnish; will not break when bent (as 14 & 16 gauge do) - COPPER & NuGold brass: 16 gauge & famous for tarnishing because of high copper content. We enclose a sheer organza bag + anti-tarnish bag + a small tarnish remover cloth

PROCESS: Spacing &, height among characters varies, some higher / lower / deeper which gives uniqueness and artisan look especially coordinates - Minor scratches are a normal manufacturing occurrence - Copper and brass lettering are thinner / lighter - The BLACK INK may at some point, to some degree fade away however you can fill it back in with a black Sharpie and then clean with rubbing alcohol on a paper towel
