I grew up on the back of a horse, among rough men, wild children and women that had the fashion sense of a 50's matron. From the horsemen I learned about quality tack and what it means to a cowboy or vaquero. It's the way they tell the world who they are without saying a word. You'll find it in cowboys today too- from flat hats and hand braided rawhide riata's to supple custom saddles and double stitched reins.

I wanted to incorporate the western look and feel of those wonderful tack rooms into my own home, but when looking for 'western' themed' items I found only cliche' and kitschy things. So I began searching auctions, tack sales and estate auctions. What I found there was exactly what I needed. Rustic Western items that will fit into a home or western collection and tell the world who you are. Things that don't cost a fortune and have an authentic 'feel'. And because they are one of a kind items no one else will have anything exactly like it!

And those 50's matron's? Well it seems like they are now 'on trend'! Things from those kitchens sparked fantastic memories of warm bread, buckwheat pancakes, apple pies and chili beans. So when I find something that sparks that memory in me- I buy it for you!

I hope you enjoy my shop. It isn't as trendy as some, but it is authentic. I love each of these items and hope you will too.
