I ran across some amazing dish sets at a thrift shop and posted the picture to my facebook page with the caption "Can you BELIEVE this fabulous china?!". I sold it all before I even made it to the check out counter.

I've been an avid vintage collector since my teens. At some point all of us that are into vintage turn into hoarders because we just can't leave things in thrift shops, antique shops, at friend's houses (Hey - my grandmother gave me this box, etc.) and of course estate sales.

My etsy store and ebay sales are my way of passing along the cool things I find to people who will love them as much as I do and have the opportunity (and space) to showcase them, use them, wear them and enjoy them. It's also an excellent way for me not to turn into a crazy dish lady for real with boxes of cool stuff stacked to the ceiling.

The china that remains (and will never be sold) in my cabinet is my mother's Herend china set and my Knowles "Mobile" set. My kitchen is "Mexicali", my dining room is vintage "Asian" and even those rooms are teetering on "hoarder".

I travel and search out items high and low. Sometimes I'm lucky and I find the entire set, other times I pick up the odd plate, dish, glass, etc. and hope I stumble on more so that someone can either start a set or complete a set.
