Hi. This is the story of me, Lauren, and my shop, The Inked Pistol. I am a married mother from Texas. I love my family. I get my inspiration from spring colors, current events, TV shows, trend colors/fashions. Or just whatever I feel like creating at the time. So please, read on and find out more about TIP!

The Inked Pistol, TIP, is actually my second business. My first one was Signs by LC from 2010-2013. I shut that store down after my first husband left. I lost my passion for creating. Then, one day in early 2015, I felt my spark come back. My passion was alive again! I had thoughts and ideas and dreams. Oh I was ready to have fun again! So then came the hard part, the name! Since I was divorced and changed my name, I couldn't use my old shop name. Plus, I didn't want to do signs anymore, just jewelry. But I wanted to keep the same, fun-loving atmosphere and the fun of creating custom items. I love to be different and unique. So I wanted a shop name that was different. Not something that sounds like all the others, I wanted to stand out. I have tattoos and I carry a badge and a gun. I thought, well how about The Inked Pistol? Something sexy but strong. Something for anyone, man or woman.

What started as just a hobby for boredom, beading, sewing, designing, and sticker making has now become a strong part of my life. I am a first responder, it's very stressful so creating helps me to release the stress. This store is such a huge part of me, a part of me that I get to share with all of you!
