The original concept of the magic Pasty art is inspired by the legends and tales of Cornwall, a county at the tip of the UK that used to be a separate Celtic nation. It's long been known as The Land of Legend due to the large amount of giants, knockers (the fairy-folk who live down tin mines), spriggans, piskies (The Cornish variety of Pixie) and other fantastical beasts and beings that are rumoured to exist here. We mixed in our own influences such as 70's children's television, modern Japanese culture and art-toys/vinyl and the concept of magicpasty.com was born :)
