Puzzle Better Retro Room is the creation of PuzzleBetter.

I am a Biochemist turned retrogamer / content creator / gaming streamer who enjoys creating and/or painting handcrafted woodworks as well as collecting and selling vintage retro wares. I love it when I can incorporate the use chemistry into my pieces!

I have always loved working with wood. My first experiences come a childhood of helping others to build their homes with Habitat for Humanity. My family had the first Habitat for Humanity house in the area where I grew up. Every summer I can remember growing up was spent working, building, and painting.

Now, I have combined all my interests and know-how into something truly unique. My workshop is at home, so I can care for my two amazing boys who are autistic.

What I do:
I seek out retro and vintage treasures through estate sales, private purchase, tag sales, auctions, and thrift stores, and more. Some of these I up-cycle, restore, re-purpose, reuse, fix, or improve upon in some other way. I also make my own functional and/or artistic creations in my woodworking shop.

If I perform minor fixes, or if I leave the piece untouched, I will sell the item in vintage. If I make more significant changes, or completely re-purpose it, I will sell it in handmade.
