It means a lot to us to fill our shop with rare old time treasures and find them a new home and a new life

We started visiting the local auction house in the beginning of 2012. We soon experienced the thrill of "hunting" for rare and beautiful objects and the pleasure of getting to know them. We hold a piece in our hand and we wonder what was its owner like, what was their life, their joys and their sorrows. They we once young and full of excitement and hope, now they are long gone and had left a scattered trail of lonely objects. We like rescuing those lost pieces, taking care of them and most importantly - finding them a new owner, who would bring them back to life and love them again.

We so enjoy hearing some of our client's stories of how they loved the special vintage or antique objects they ordered from us. Sometimes the stories move us deeply. Once a gentleman wrote to say how excited he was to finally find a rare plate in our shop after years of searching - it was going to replace a plate treasured by his mother in law that many years ago he happened to break. Another time a lady wrote telling us of how when she was a little girl she would visit her dad in the factory for baby bottles he used to work in - the factory was long closed and her dad was gone, but in our shop she found an old bottle produced in that same factory. Those stories are the best part of what we do. Along with preserving the Past - because we feel it needs to be preserved and treasured.
