My Etsy Story

I am a wife, mother of 3 daughters, grandmother to 6 grandsons and 1 granddaughter-in-law and a retired nurse. After retirement I had a lot of time on my hands and there is always a need for a little extra money. I remembered seeing the young nurses I worked with searching Etsy for cute handmade items for their children, homes and gifts. After some research decided this would be my venue. I opened my shop in September, 2013 but as luck would have it illness and an injury prevented me from doing much with it until the following year.

You will find The Primrose Cottage an eclectic shop. I love doing a variety of crafts. Knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, decoupage and anything else I find interesting. I get bored doing the same things over and over. My crafts are a stress reliever, so if it gets stressful I stop. My work area is a comfy rocker in front of the TV and my kitchen table.

Take a look at my shop. I will be adding more and different items. I know you will be able to find that unique accessory or gift. If you don't find what you want, please contact me to custom make something for you.
