A museum and studio for letterpress and intaglio techniques, a hotbed of new ideas for old crafts, a center for print-related education, research and art. The Printing Museum is a unique combination of all the above and then some more.
Founded as a non-profit in only 2010, The Printing Museum has become an important center for graphic arts and printmaking in the University Town of Tartu Estonia. Collaboration with several art schools gives us a steady flow of the freshest and brightest ideas that we try to cast into physical form as prints, books, postcards... Sometimes it all works out, sometimes all we are left is ink on our fingers.
This storefront is where you can find beautiful, practical or strange products of our making. Your purchases will be used to keep us up and running to meet the digital revolution head-on, armed with 19th century equipment.
