I have been buying, selling, trading and collecting shark teeth since 2004. Although I constantly shop my competition and also look for new ideas, I somehow missed seeing any listings from Etsy. Then one day my oldest daughter, who lives 1,200 miles away, was telling me about her plans for a new online store at a site called Etsy.com. I immediately looked into it and had my shop open the very next day.
Since then the numbers have grown month after month with very few exceptions. Sales numbers have recently crossed the 8,600 mark, and I have long since closed my other store on eBay to dedicate my full efforts to The Shark Tooth Shop.

All of the teeth that I use are REAL, there are no replicas. The modern teeth are collected from several sources and none of them are collected in such a way that a shark is harmed. They are the by product of the fishing industry, they come from personal collections, and also natural sheds. The fossilized teeth are brought in from many sources around the globe. None of those are ever altered or repaired, they are simply cleaned using a process that I've developed over the years.

I'm a one man show, I do it all. Everything.... the assembly, pictures, listings, and shipping. Only when it gets very busy do I have anyone help me and it's usually my daughter.
