I am currently working on a variety of "Inspiration" and "Instant Collection" kits for junk journal making, slow stitching and a few other items to add to my store.

I do NOT use die cut machines of any kind to make my vintage style putz houses. Each of my houses are designed, cut, folded, glued and decorated with my own 2 hands.

Because I use as many vintage/antique craft supplies as possible and most are no longer available : Most all altered Bird clips, dioramas & ornaments I create and sell are considered to be "one of a kind" and will not be recreated.
However should you want something special made just ask … I have lots of vintage supplies :).

Some of my favorite things to use in my creations are : German glass glitter, mica, scrap paper, crystals from chandeliers, Vintage craft supplies, Broken vintage/antique jewelry, Vintage/antique hankies/fabric & linens, Vintage/antique children`s book- cards-wallpaper-photos etc., vintage/antique tins and other wonderful pieces of the past.

There is a need felt deep inside me to bring the past back to the now and (hopefully)the future.
So the shop name "THE UGLY DUCKLING1962"( the "1962" is for the year I was born) was most fitting.
