Welcome to my shop policies section. I am very open to input and discussions from people. Many of my items can be customized, and I would be very pleased to discuss this with you.
Accepted payment methods

Payment
I will take a cheque, PayPal, postal orders or Bank Transfers. If you can come up with any other version that does not cost too much to process I would be very happy to conciser them. Please contact me if you have any problems with payment.
You do not need a PayPal Account to pay for your items through PayPal:
You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the "Pay Now" button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.
Once payment is cleared my end I shall send the item. If I do not receive any payment I will send a follow up email to find out if you are having any problems (its not that easy to pay sometimes, especially if you are new to the system!). I will not send items without first receiving payment.
Smaller commissions (under £50):
For commissions I will do my best to fit the description I am given. I tend to put even more effort into commissions than my standard works. However the image in my head may vary from the image in yours!. If I make something to a commission I do expect it to be honored, as in most cases it will be unsellable to anyone else. I will list it with your Etsy name in the title, at the price agreed before hand. If you do not buy it after a week or so I will contact you to see if there is any problems. If I feel you have deliberately not honored the commission I will contact the Etsy moderators.
Larger commissions (over £50):
See above, except I will need a 25% deposit before I start work.

Unfortunately, living in rural Britain I can only use Royal Mail.
I try to use recycled packaging were possible. I am using bubble wrap at the moment, but if anyone has any more ecologically sound ideas, please get in touch!
I have put everywhere as a postage option. I will honour this. If I find there are some places that it costs a lot to post to I will start to get more specific. Enjoy this perk while you can!
I have been advised that not all countries accept imports of untreated or unsealed wood for fear of spreading fungal or insect disease - Australia is a case in point. I will have a quick check online before posting to new countries, but I cannot be held responsible for any customs fees that are incurred.
If I have found out any specifics preventing me posting to your country I will contact you (before accepting the payment) and ask whether you wish to cancel the transaction or if I can treat or seal the wood in some way before posting. In some cases simple heat treatment is all that is required and should not change the appearance. In others I will need to seal the wood and the overall appearance may be altered. I will ask if you wish to proceed.
