Why the funky name? Because platypuses are cool, and definitely bizarre, and "bazaar" was a fun "eye roll" pun that also lets you know that this shop will have a bunch of random things!

So, hello! Welcome to my shop!

My name is Juliette and I love doing arts and crafts. I'm interested in trying a bit of anything and everything, so I hope to always have some interesting and different things for sale. I love color, detailed designs, and stuff that's also practical or useful in some way. I'm also a bit of a geek and have loved modern boardgames since discovering the hobby around 2018, so I plan to always have some boardgame accessories for sale.

I actually created the Etsy shop many years ago, but college (Anthropology with some Art), various jobs (mostly historical societies or museums), and Grad school (Museum Education, and a Writing for Children side certification) kept me pretty busy. During the Pandemic I actually met my husband, and after moving I finally got a real craftroom! So now at long last it's time to make (and sell) lots of cool stuff! Hopefully you'll like some of it too!
