5 out of 5 starsMy package arrived yesterday! I absolutely love the kit! The instructions are detailed and the heads are extremely cute! I still can't believe how low the cost was given everything that was included in the kit and the quality. I am can hardly wait to begin making the dolls!! The little head for the 8” doll is especially cute!! Thank you so much for understanding how important it is for me be involved in at least part of making the doll for my son and for assembling this beautiful kit for me!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Due to the delicate nature of the suncatchers, they may get a bit wrinkled during shipping - I pack them carefully in a plastic sleeve and add a paper for stability, but it's always a toss up between safety and weight. Shipping is pretty expensive here.
Additional policies and FAQs
FAQ:
How are your suncatchers made?
I use very fine tissue paper to make these stars because I can make more layers then with kite or wax paper. The star looks darker where it has more layers (= has been folded more often). It will brighten up any room and I'll be delighted to make a custom star for you that matches your furniture or curtains!
How should I treat your suncatchers?
Since the star is very delicate, it is not a good idea to have it in a place where it could get wet. All over damp is not as much a problem as water droplets or splashes. If you have any question, please feel free to convo me!
What if they get wrinkly?
You can smoothe out most wrinkles by carefully stroking it with your hand on a flat surface - place a book on the more stubborn wrinkles for a couple of hours and your ornament should be fine. However, if the suncatcher arrives in really bad condition, please take a picture of the envelope and of the ruined ornament and I will gladly resend it! I want you to be happy with your purchase!
Why are your dolls so expensive?
Each doll is handmade and takes a lot of time to finish. I currently make all the items of clothing myself, each hair has to fixed to the head for itself, shoes have to be chrochet... Its a lot of work! The materials I use are of very high quality, so...
I promise to blog about this soon!
Can your dolls be cleaned?
I recommend surface washing for the wool stuffed dolls because they take soooo long to dry, but if you have to, you can handwash them with cool water and lay them flat to dry.
The poly filled dolls can be handwashed with warm water, the bunting babies will be OK with the occasional spin in the washing mashine but I don't recommend it. Lay flat to dry, please!
How are your Dolls made?
All my Dolls are made in the waldorf tradition.
Their skin is made from 100% interlock cotton and they are filled with clean carded sheeps wool.
I also make dolls with Polyfill upon request for better washability and resistance to moths. All bunting babies are fiber-filled.
Each Doll has a cute little nose and painted on eyes and mouth. They will not come off, the color is wash, chew and scratch resistant.
All dolls are made in my petfree and smoke free apartment.
If you want a doll like this, but want to customize it, please convo me. I'll set up a custom listing for you.
What's up with the face expressions?
The face expression is kept neutral so the kid can see its own emotion in the dolls face - anger and agression as well as happiness, glee or joy.
Can your dolls take some rough play?
My dolls are really sturdy (my daughters doll proves it...) and even though I'd love to do it, I can't give a lifetime warranty for my dolls because I know how kids play. If they should break they are easy to repair. If you have any trouble, please contact me!
