Announcement
Vermont Slate Art was created in 1999 by Mike and Noela Sullivan. Our switch plates are hand crafted from reclaimed roof slate found in our home state of Vermont. Salvaged from century old buildings, these beautiful slate plates are a unique accent to your home or business, whether your taste is rustic or contemporary. A perfect complement to stone work-counter tops, back splashes, floors or just a beautiful detail piece.

5 out of 5 starsI've probably purchased 10-15 outlet and switch covers from this seller. They're just gorgeous and have a very "high-end" look.

5 out of 5 starsVery happy with purchase. Pros - real slate/rock - looks nice - fits nicely Cons - my screwdriver scratched the surface - colors my vary from pics, but pic still is generally representative of the colors.

A little mineral/olive oil will completely conceal any scratches!

5 out of 5 starsI purchased the set of 4 Round Slate Coasters and am very happy with my purchase. I was given a nice variety of colors. They have a large, thick piece of cork on the bottom to protect your tables. (Not small cork feet like some coasters.) These should last me a very long time!

Owner, Operator
In December 1999 we began making slate switch plates in a small shop at our home in Vermont. We love our work as it allows us the flexibility to spend time with our two boys, AND over the years we have saved tons of slate from going to the landfill.
