When I was little, I used to get in trouble for hiding under the kitchen table and drawing on any piece of available paper (even if it were the pages of my own baby book!).
Drawing just came naturally.

As I got older, I would watch old black and white movies with my Mother. But it wasn't the story line or actors that attracted me; it was always those beautiful, elegant stage sets with ornamental plaster ceilings, stately columns and elegant wallpapers and furniture that drew my attention.
My decorating style was born with those old movies.

I soon started calling it my "Mansion Style".

Pick up any high end decorating magazine and you'll see my style all over those pages. The more ornate and classic designs that grace mansions and castles and beautiful hotels. Designs that never go out of style.

I loved to take every simple home I've ever lived in and turn it in to a truly beautiful and elegant place to live through the use of stencils, faux finishing, recovering and a whole lot of DIY. I've gotten good at it!

And now, my passion is to help YOU do the same! Through my stencil and mold designs and the ability to share my knowledge, I've helped thousands of people do exactly what I do in my own home.

I've been fortunate to have been featured in national publications such as Better Homes and Garden, Woman's Day, the Wall Street Journal and on countless website and blogs through the years.
