This beautifully made bed frame was carefully packaged (I accidentally bashed the end of one of the long cartons with a stair step and gasped but the ends were VERY well cushioned) and the main pieces are ingeniously packed surrounded by the slats. If you buy a bed with shorter legs, it may be easier to assemble right side up, as the legs are very easy to screw in. Flipping it would be harder (as one person) because it's heavy and large and I was trying to make sure the finish would not get scratched while assembling. This is a gorgeous bed that I will enjoy for many years.

This bed frame is everything we were looking for- super low profile for our senior dog to access, high quality solid wood, skillfully crafted, easy to assemble, and aesthetically pleasing. My questions were answered promptly, and the bed is exactly as described. It was packaged carefully, and unwrapping took longer than the assembly itself.

These beds are just perfect. The quality is incredible, and the assembly is flawless. We even had our 1.5 year old help us (kidding but kind of not!). Both equally important in terms of using and moving them with us from room to room and house to house... these are lifelong beds.

I ordered two walnut nightstands, with an added customization of a shelf at the bottom. They are absolutely beautiful, incredible quality, and they arrived without a hitch in extremely well packed boxes.
