"Every shop has a story" says Etsy, "tell the compelling tale". Wombat's World hasn't much of a story, nor is it that compelling, but here goes.

Once upon a time, Wombat was lazing in his burrow when an American friend asked if she could buy one of the photographs he'd just taken. Wombat was VERY surprised because he had no idea that others liked his photographs. Being quite hungry, however, he did sell the photograph for a bowl of grass and moss.

A few days later, more people asked him to sell them photographs, so he set up a Wordpress blog to display his favourite pictures. Being a Wombat of Very Little Brain, he found it quite hard to put a little button next to the photographs for people to poke and show what they wanted to buy.

His friend Curly Lucy told him how easy it would be to use Etsy, and so (with a little help from someone who could actually type) he set up this shop. And they all lived happily ever after.
