The Name 'WooHoo" and a little bit about me....

My shop started in February of 2008. I have been making my own patterns for years and years and prior to 2008 I had been selling kits here and there. My old store was "Newfangled Cross Stitch" and I was never that happy with the name. My sister had an old email address with part of our maiden name woven into it (the woohoo bit) and it just struck me as kind of cool to use my name in my store. Since then I have married and my name has changed but I've kept my store name.

Little by little I've been expanding my store and I'm now adding kits and other bits and bobs.

I have five children (3 girls and 2 boys) and I work from my little office space at home. My 2 boys are autistic so it's important for me to be around and available at any given time. So, working on my store usually involves odd hours which is great when you're selling on the internet!
