Announcement
The people of Nepal are truly the most resilient, welcoming, and kind group of people that I have been lucky enough to know. The heartbreaking scenes that we are witnessing in Nepal due to the earthquake remind us that we are all in this together, regardless of language, religion, ethnicity, or political beliefs. It is our duty to do what we can to help our brothers and sisters through this tragic time.
All of these photographs were taken in Kathmandu or Besisahar, Nepal in 2013. Besisahar is a small town very near the epicenter of the earthquake. The proceeds from this shop will go directly to the International Commission for Dalit Rights (http://icdrintl.org/urgent-donate-to-icdr-nepal-earthquake-relief-fund/), an organization helping Dalits, the community of lower castes – Dalits are the most drastically effected by the earthquake and will have the most difficult road to recovery.
$1 US dollar can provide $10 of aid in Nepal. Thank you for your help!
Peace & love,
Hanna
