The name 'A little bit dusty' comes from the fact that dusting is my least favourite housework and most pieces are covered in a layer of dust when we find them!

Growing up our family lived in many 'renovators delights' which were transformed into beautifully restored homes. After moving into a little 1900s cottage myself I found I had caught the love of old and well loved furniture and homewares.

'A little bit dusty' is helped by many members of my family.
Some of the first few things I listed and sold were from my Pop's shed, he likes to collect old things too (must be genetic!) and when he retired and downsized to a small place some of it had to go. He is still finding bits so from time to time I list them for him.
My Dad likes to restore old furniture & collects old wood working tools, he often gives wooden pieces a touch of glue or beeswax for me. He is also very helpful at picking up items I've bought from estate auctions. Thanks Dad!
My Mum is a co-owner with me. She is great at getting stains out of fabric, hunting out treasures, and making quick trips to the post office.

I do find myself getting attached to the items in my shop and feel quite sad when my favourites sell right away. I must admit some special pieces don't quite make it to the shop as I can't bear to part with them!
