Hello there!
Welcome to our little shop, I’m glad you found us! I’m Marie, the owner and creator behind Anita Apothecary and Apiary. Anita is my daughter and BFF, she’s 9 and completely obsessed with nature, insects, all animals-especially her Pugs, all arts/crafts and drawing. ✨ Here’s a little bit about us~ I launched our shop a few months after giving birth and named the shop in Anita’s honor. I’m an experienced self-taught candle maker, a ceramic artist, herbalist and aromatherapist, a hedge witch and bone thrower, certified Reiki Master, Death Doula, crystal hoarder, gardener, beekeeper and a mom… best of all 🥰 I’m busy gal to say the least! I am a practicing traditional witch with ancestry from Scotland and England. I recently found out my estranged fathers family comes from Appalachia (so far recorded 1790’s-1930’s) which may explain my love for Folk Magick and hoodoo. I enjoy all forms of divination but especially throwing bones. I am especially drawn to lunar magick, scrying, botanicals/plant studies but especially potion and oil blending. I live in the Pacific Northwest and LOVE it here. Trees, mountains, rain, oceans and rivers, we have it all and it’s magickal. In September 2021, I finished my Reiki Masters course and am officially certified and love infusing this ancient practice into my craft! I love to challenge myself in my work and really try to bring unique items to my shop that you won’t find other places. I want everyone to have a wonderful experience here because it’s important to me that you know you’re valued and appreciated. We also will automatically add SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION to any order over $100 (at OUR expense), especially to apartments and 1st time customers with large dollar amount orders. This is to PROTECT YOU and our shop from your package getting lost or stolen which is happening more often these days unfortunately. If you are unable to sign for it, simply go to the post office in person and hand them the slip they leave you and they will retrieve it. Easy peasy.

❌ At this time international shipping is only available to Canada, United Kingdom (UK), Europe and certain other countries upon our approval and will REQUIRE tracking and signature delivery. No exceptions. Here’s why: Unfortunately I have had too many packages lost, stolen contents, or customs issues and no longer can afford to eat the cost of fixing these problems. ➡️ If you live in another country and use one of these new shipping “forwarding” companies, we are NOT responsible from anything beyond the shipping destination on the Etsy order. This means if customs doesn’t accept your order, you are responsible for shipping it back to us for a refund! If it never reaches you, it is not our responsibility! We are only responsible to deliver to the address on the order. Once it is marked delivered, anything beyond that is not our responsibility. I wish we could do international orders but as a tiny business, fixing, resending, refunding for problems that are not our fault is too expensive. Thank you for your understanding!
Most everything is ready to ship but occasionally some items will be made to order and require an additional day or two of processing. Everything is shipped via USPS through Etsy and will include tracking. Some items are able to ship International~please contact me for more information.

We’ve grown our little shop from the bottom up over the last 8+ years, working extremely hard to create beautiful, original pieces you won’t find anywhere else. Please be mindful of those who do not uphold our values and flat out steal our original designs and concepts. Etsy is a place for artists and buyers to connect over what they love, ART and PASSION! But is also a platform where unethical people come to steal the hard work of others through “copying.” 🧿 It’s actually a big problem in the art community these days and is a growing issue many artists face. There’s not much small shops can do about it because a lawyer is expensive...so please just be careful and know who you’re buying from and what energy you’re getting in return...are they a shop that promotes positivity and the highest good? Actions speak for themselves! 5 out of 5 starsI have migraines triggered by weather, and have ordered a few of these because Texas has severe storms in Spring. The preventive medication only does so much on severe weather days, and Migraine Magic has helped a lot. I would definitely recommend.

5 out of 5 starsWhat a lovely little potion. I have pretty severe anxiety and when I'm having a day I like having this on hand. The packing tickles me because I think anyone who suffers with anxiety issues can agree that it can go f*** right off. It's important to practice self care and this oil has a very comforting smell. I think because I take a lot of lavender baths, it makes me feel relaxed. I love using those before bed as well.

I will try to answer any questions you may have, please contact me or read the other FAQ’s which may answer your questions. I also try to list as much information in each product description as possible. Understand I CANNOT provide spiritual advice, counsel, provide spells, give some product uses as it violates Etsy policies to do so. Due to the nature of goods sold, it is highly advised that you research on your own the best way to use the products.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Most all my items are wrapped in tissue paper, a organza bag, etc.
We try to make everything as gift ready and as pretty as possible. We are happy to include a birthday card or message with any order, just write what you’d like to include in the “note to seller” box at checkout and we will take it from there!

Ingredients List
If you have an allergy or ingredient concern about something specific, please message me and I can tell you if it is an ingredient. I only will ever use pure Essential oils, ethically sourced and organic supplies and ingredients when possible. I don’t share my entire ingredients list and recipes in my descriptions anymore as it has taken a lot of time, expense and energy to formulate them and I need to protect my hard work from being stolen. 💜

Samples, freebies and influencers
Unfortunately I am not able to provide samples and free items of my products. Please understand I work from my home studio and am a small Etsy shop, not a large chain with the overhead and staff to provide free samples and free items. Thank you.
International Shipping
Unfortunately at this time I am unable to ship internationally with the exception of Canada and the UK. Due to previous issues with customs, lost and stolen packages, it’s not feasible as a seller at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience and hope to sell internationally in the future.
