  • Eddie Martin

    Owner, Resident Barbarian And Woodworker

The Goliath Barbarian. I was part of a DnD campaigned where for some reason I rolled 20's on anything involving wood. Somehow that seem to spill over to real life. Suddenly, I find myself building and designing from wood like a true barbarian.

  • Gwen

    Resident Cat

She is here for morale and mainly to throw herself across anything anyone is working on. She is a lovely little pain in the butt.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you use these wood?

Quite a few of the woods chosen, were due to them being ideal for woodworker in the style I happen to enjoy. They tend to look best the way I like to finish them and stand up best under wear and abuse.
They are also ecologically friendly to some degree. None of our woods are harvested illegally or in a way that would cause irreparable damage to the environment.

Care instructions

The finish is a 2 part finish. First is an oil treatment to the wood itself. Boiled linseed helps protect the wood on an internal level as well.
Next a layer of natural wax blended with orange oil is applied to help seal the surface better.
This does allow for the wood to still age and potentially absorb a small amount of liquid, however it should be fine as is. Cleaning the wood should be done with a basic wood cleaner applied to a rag then buffed into the wood. Deeper dents may be capable of being sanded out, please contact me if you would like to have the wood refinished.

Custom and personalized orders

Custom boxes are available. I make these in both commander and standard sizes. I can make a box up to 9 inches in any one dimension depending on the wood used. Custom engravings are available.
