Announcement    Now that you’ve found my website, I hope you’ll enjoy browsing through the items I’ve created. I find that making miniature boxed books gives me a strong sense of satisfaction and creates an object that is unique and enjoyable tactilely, visually and mentally.

The malleability of paper in all its various patterns and colors is interesting to work with and always surprising in its impact. My background is in fiber and continues to encourage the explorations of its varied forms. Often I combine textiles with paper, adding another dimension to the work.

Boxes appeal to me, too, because of their nature of enveloping items, giving objects a special “home” and keeping them separate from other things. A box always makes what’s inside a little mysterious and out of the ordinary.
