SO enter into my little micro-cosmos here on Etsy.....everything you see I have made(well not the vintage tagged items).....It suits me to make things others do not, why be a sheep?
HERE you are encouraged to follow your own drummer, dress funky, dance with abandon, laugh too loud, make your own rules and stay out as late as you wish......My inspiration to create started long ago, in another realm, but has pulled me to New Orleans where uniqueness runs rampant and nonconformism is lauded....... not just by neophytes, but by all it's wacky, young at heart denizens!! It is truly an other-worldly experience and I consider myself lucky to be a part of it!

I am inspired by so many things here as costuming and play wear is at it's best at any given moment!! I predominately reuse and upcycle QUALITY vintage...and salvaged clothes and fabrics in my designs, as there are just so many things available that most folks call trash and would throw away.....in them I see the treasure of fresh designs and new styles waiting to be unleashed on fun-loving fashion devotees!!

I have been sewing since learning in 4-H when I was 10, my mother used to make our clothes when I was growing up(much to my chagrin, at the time!) But I have always been a clothes hound with a closet full, and I started "rethreading" long ago as I could not afford everything I wanted to own. In the past 9 years I have been selling my works at shows and markets and have had a very positive response to my vision of fashion. I also sell fabulous vintage clothing...(some things are just too amazing to change!)
