When my daughter was newborn, I had been looking for hats to fit her tiny head. I wanted something warm, but soft that could protect her little ears from winter wind.

I couldn't find anything that was just right. Everything was so plain and boring! Until I came by a pattern for a crochet raccoon hat. I hadn't even picked up a crochet hook in several years, but I knew with a little practice I could get back into the swing of things.

It didn't take long at all, and the finished product was just too cute! One hat became several, and before I knew it, my daughter had quite a collection of hats. She loves them still!

Eventually people started asking me to make hats for their kid's, too. And that's when I opened this little Etsy shop. I work full time as a Prepress Artist, so it's nice to have something to come home and unwind with. A fun hobby that doesn't make a huge mess, and won't wake my sleeping toddler at night.
