I have always loved making things with my own hands and imagination. I was thinking about opening a shop just to earn a little mad money. Then I learned that my kidneys had failed, and I would need to be on dialysis until I could get a transplant. Having a transplant surgery is very expensive, and so is the anti-rejection medicine I will have to take for the rest of my life. The hospital recommends that I save $25,000 to pay for my portion of everything. Now this etsy shop really has a purpose. I have some great items to sell, and friends have donated their time and talents to help me reach my goal and get healthy again.
