Working Mother of 2 adult boys. Trying to figure out what to do with myself now that I'm an empty nester. I love all aspects of Quilting from buying the fabric to hand stitching the binding, and everything else in between. I enjoy following patterns but mostly I like to just create quilt tops as I go. I enjoy challenging myself to try new techniques and to step outside my comfort zone with different color combinations of fabric. Just creating makes me happy!

I married my high school sweetheart 28 years ago after we had dated for 10 years! I also work full time in a small office for my husband. We have 2 boys who are both finishing up college. Our oldest has a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering and is currently getting his MBA, He will finish in August. Our younger son will get his bachelors in Biology and will most likely continue on in the Medical or Dental Filed.

A few years ago we bought a cabin up in Michigan in an area that we grew up vacationing in. We painted it GREY :) We completly redid the outside and inside. It was so much fun watching our little cabin take shape and turning into a really hip and modern Home Away from Home. My husband and I grew up in Michigan and look forward to retiring in a few years and moving back north. Michigan is our favorite place ever but the winters can be quite cold and long. My quilts will serve 2 purposes keeping me busy and warm.
