I am a studio jeweler who lives and works in Hyattsville, Maryland. I design ever-evolving limited production jewelry. No two items will ever be exactly the same as each item is handmade using traditional techniques. My enthrallment with old tools and our material culture drives my desire to make jewelry to adorn the fashionably modern.

As a young girl I hammered at the anvil and that sound, the malleability of the metal, and the transformation of shape had me enthralled. Metalsmithing is my passion and heritage as working with metal has been a consistent thread throughout my life. My father is a blacksmith and my maternal grandfather was a tinsmith. I have named my Etsy shop "CLPoore" to honor my grandfather Charles A. Poore who lived and worked in Massachusetts creating early American tin-craft in the old New England tradition.
