In 2006 I found myself with all three boys in school full time and a chance to pursue creative endeavors. I began making mixed media collage and art journaling. I had previously been an avid scrapbooker and wanted to take my albums to the next level incorporating more artistic elements and mixed media materials.

I purchased Somerset Studio and Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazines. I loved it all and wanted to make everything. However, what caught my eye was the mixed media jewelry. I fell for the vintage, funky and artistic pieces.

Taking vintage and recycled items and making them into a piece of jewelry became an outlet for me. I am still experimenting and love trying new things. Resin, repurposed watch cases, plumbing pipe caps and vintage jewelry along with glass, ceramic, polymer, wire and hand made art beads are found in my creations. I am also a photographer and digital artist and like to incorporate my photos and collages into resin pendants, as well.

Everything in this shop is made by me in my home studio in Montgomery County, PA. I am still a mom to three boys but they are now all grown up. My guitar playing husband and I are adjusting to being semi empty nesters who's door is always open to our kids. There's never a dull moment!
