One of my favorite things to do is to visit antique and thrift stores. There are always so many dolls there. I know it sounds silly but I only purchase the ones that sort of call out to me….begging for me to take them home. I started out painting when I was very young. My mother got me a tackle box and some oil paints and brushes and a canvas and off I went to painting classes. I loved it! I haven’t painted on canvas since I was a kid but later in life I started my hobby of doll transformation. I give unwanted dolls a new life. I give them new clothes and shoes and a new face. All of my dolls are creepy but I think they like it because they get all kinds of attention now. I do get very attached to my dolls while I am working on them. It is very difficult for me to sell them but that is the only way I am able to continue on making new ones. Other than painting my other passion is writing. Each doll comes with a fictional story. Some of them come with a death certificate that finishes telling the story. Life is great when you can combine two passions into one. Thanks so much for visiting my shop.
