Frequently asked questions
Why are your postage charges more expensive than some other sellers?
Due to an increase in the number of false claims that packages did not arrive, I have had to upgrade my shipping methods to include tracking and signatures where possible. Sadly, this has increased the cost of shipping.
In the UK, my mail is sent by a trackable method, which requires a signature on receipt.
Non-UK shipments are made using one of three Royal Mail services depending on the availability in the relevant country - Tracked & Signed, Tracked, or Signed.
Do you deliver to EU countries?
It is with immense sadness and frustration that I have had to decide to stop selling to EU countries from now on, at least until the UK government provides some solid guidance on what micro businesses such as Dragonrat are supposed to do and how we are supposed to achieve it.
I sincerely hope that this will change in the weeks and months to come, and I am sorry for having to take this step. This is definitely à bientôt, not au revoir.
In the meantime, as Etsy doesn't have a way to preclude individual countries from a delivery profile, the only way to deter EU customers that I could think of was to increase the P&P to a ridiculously high amount.
