I have loved vintage clothing since a young age. I can remember the first vintage clothing I bought. I was 13 and it was a 1960s bowling shirt with the name Donna on the front. I wore it with pride knowing I had a one of a kind shirt that no one else had. Ever since then my favorite thing to do is hunt for unique vintage items.

In college, whenever I found cute clothes at thrift stores that didn't fit me, I would still purchase it and try to find a friend to take it home. Finally, I started Dusty Society in 2010 when I realized I had acquired a whole closet of vintage clothes that fit a variety of body types other than my own. Since then, I have loved collecting vintage treasures, cleaning, tailoring them and finding just the right home. I love the idea that a 1960s dress that belonged to a Wisconsin farmer could end up being worn my a Japanese woman in 2015 thanks to Etsy.

Dusty Society isn't my full-time job but it is my passion. It is important that everything I sell is good vintage quality, accurately represented and that every customer is happy with their purchase.
