Originally planning to use Etsy to sell crochet and knitwear, I have branched out recently to offering more of my handmade jewelry and other art, including collage and paintings. I work with a wide variety of materials, especially found/repurposed objects, and enjoy trying new things so there is really no end to what you might find available in my shop.

Recently I've gotten into making paper beads, and I've started to also try out how it works to make beads from prints of my own paintings. I'm getting ready to start playing with some ideas for fabric rolled beads.

I am inspired by textiles, my indigenous/First Nations culture, traditional spiritualities, and indigenous/diasporic communities of color. A lot of my ideas come to me in dreams or during meditation, and some of my best ideas really do come in the shower. Music is often a conduit to opening my mind, and I also love seeing what amazing things other artists are doing. I read a lot and a wide variety of things, so sometimes my ideas come from my brain's visualization of something I read.

I'm also a poet and in the early stages of working towards being a doula, so those things come out in my work as well.

I believe that the functional should also be beautiful, and that everything has multiple potential uses.
