This is easily one of my favorite Etsy purchases so far. This is my new favorite bag, and emmieshop was also so generous and wonderful to work with - sending me messages to update me on shipping times. I also received a beautiful black matching clutch/zip pouch as a gift bc shipping was held up just a bit, which was extremely generous and kind! I have had this bag for a few weeks and am very impressed with the high quality of it. It is also a perfect size for me - toting my wallet, sunglasses, books, kid stuff, water, laptop, etc. No matter what I load into it I can tell it is very sturdy and won't break down on account of the ridiculous amount of stuff/weight therein. Happy happy purchase.

Emmieshop designs and makes simple, practical, and timeless bags and accessories.

I have always had an interest in, and a devotion to good design. Combined with my sewing skills I have been able to turn my designs into bags and accessories that are practical, modern and attractive.

The bags and accessories I make are not dictated by trends, but instead have to fulfil a design brief. Is it practical? Is it beautiful? This means that my designs become timeless. They are not going to go out of fashion or look dated when new season trends come in, but are the opposite of throwaway fashion. I like to add new things to the shop, while keeping a few long-term lines. My philosophy is to keep it simple, not overcrowding the shop with too many variations, but by making a few things, and doing them really well.

I work on a small batch production, and a lot of my bags are made to order, which means that there is very little waste. The materials I use are earth friendly canvas and leather, which will not leave a mark on a landfill, and that is something that is very important to me.

When you buy from Emmieshop you are buying a hand-crafted product, made by me in a small studio in Cornwall, that is simple and practical and will last through trends while maintaining a modern aesthetic.

Returns & exchanges

Payment

Paypal is accepted worldwide, and you do not have to have an account to use this service.
Bank transfers accepted for UK buyers only.

Any duties or taxes incurred for overseas transactions will be the responsibility of the buyer.

Shipping

For UK customers I post small items 1st class royal mail and large items above £20 by recorded delivery.
For international customers I use airmail.
For items above £20 I purchase tracking and insurance where available, to safe guard missing parcels. This however is not available for all countries so please contact me if you would like to know more about your options.
For smaller items no tracking or insurance is purchased - again please convo me if you would like an alternative delivery option.
