Do you offer layaway plans?
We offer layaway plans for non-sale items above $100. There is a 25-35% nonrefundable deposit with the balance due within 30-45 days. I am happy to discuss details and work with you in many cases; just ask.
Do you offer refunds and returns?
I guarantee all items to be as described and stand behind my merchandise. If you are not satisfied, contact me and send it back in same condition as was received w/in 2 days of receipt. with tracking, postmarked within 2 days of contacting me.
CLEARANCE/SALE items FINAL. NO RETURNS.
NO refund on shipping charges. Items w/ FREE shipping: that means the cost is built into the price & my actual cost will be subtracted from refund. (example: a $30 pin inc shipping, returned, receives $25 refund to account for my $5 domestic insured shipping fee to ship it)
A 20% restocking fee will apply if returned past the 2 day return period postmarked date.
All sales FINAL if not contacted w/in 2 days of receipt or if returned after 7 days.
What shipping services do you use?
I ship with the US Postal service and I am happy to discuss shipping options with you should you wish to use another service. Insurance is usually purchased separately from an outside party from the USPS. I base my shipping on current USPS prices. Oversized packages can be subject to a surcharge by the USPS. I'm happy to combine items to save on shipping costs.
What if an item is damaged?
Please do not return it. Items are insured through either the USPS or a third party. Simply save all packing materials and the item and contact me immediately for instructions. It's rare that a claim is necessary, but it does happen from time to time and can be a relatively simple and quick process to get your investment refunded.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, I ship all over the globe. Please note that you may be charged customs fees in your country which are beyond my control. Shipping rates are based on first class mail with upgrades available upon request. The shipping fees stated includes insurance, which is required and generally adds about $2 per $100 of coverage to the shipping total.
I'm NOT responsible for any taxes or customs charges from other countries. If a package is not picked up and returned to me, I do not offer refunds on the item or on shipping costs. It's the customer's responsibility to retrieve their packages from their postal service or customs. Again: NO REFUND if package is returned to me.
How much is shipping and how is that configured?
Simply click on "SHIPPING & POLICIES" tab under the photo of the item you'd like, and your shipping price will be revealed based on your US zip code or international destination.
The shipping amount generally also includes insurance, which is purchased from an outside company. So when you receive your item, the package will often not reflect those insurance costs since it is bought online. You can go to www.usps.com to view the latest rates from which these shipping amounts are calculated.
PLEASE NOTE: Etsy charges commission on shipping fees up to about 18% if item is purchased through an offsite ad. I am opposed to this, however, I cannot do anything to change it other than to petition Etsy to stop this practice.
FREE SHIPPING PROMOTION
FREE shipping on chosen items applies to first class domestic shipping and is considered a FINAL SALE. In the even of a return for any reason other than an item not being as described, my actual cost may be subtracted from the refund you receive.
EXAMPLES:
~A $100 brooch inc. FREE shipping, if returned, would receive $95 to account for my 1st class insured cost to ship, and customer is responsible for costs to ship back as well.
~A $500 brooch inc. FREE shipping, would get a refund of approx. $490 to account for my 1st class insured cost to ship.
FREE shipping offer is extended as a promotion & is VOIDED in the event of a return.
HOWEVER, if a return is due to MY mistake, there is NO cost to buyer for ANY shipping.
