A thing about great upcycle design is it leaves a sort of footprint in ones memory. After seeing it it’s not easy to forget. It leaves you sort of puzzled, but most of the time with a smile on your face. And that’s what design should do.

The name “Fishtail45” is inspired by the exhaust of the 1943 Harley45 that I ride, since vintage motorcycles are a passion of mine. Breathing in new life to old items that I find in junkyards and flea markets is a lifestyle for me.

I like to discover new forms and uses to vintage materials turning them into something new, aesthetically beautiful, with respect to their original design.

I'm inspired by the unique authenticity of midcentury design expressed in everyday items, like cars, motorcycles, furniture and accessories.

Every item in Fishtail45 is unique, custom made, using reclaimed and re-purposed materials that I have been collecting for many years. It’s a mix of different time eras' industrial items made with special attention to details.
