Picking colors, melting glass is the first step in making all of my jewelry.
Pulling and twisting hot molten glass into a rod, or fusing the glass in my kiln is the second step in making the glass drops.
After I make the rod and they’re cooled, I go to my torch to melt the glass again and let gravity shape the drop. I pair the drops that look the same , and they become the timeless, lightweight earrings. I grind the tips of the drops and glue them onto the sterling silver findings. The result is a one-of-a-kind glass and sterling silver pair of earrings.
My post earrings are made from cut dichroic glass. I shape and grind them before they are melted in a kiln. The fused glass is then glued onto the sterling silver post using the best glue in the glass business.

5 out of 5 starsI have sensitive ears, whether it be from the metal or weight. I have three pair of these and will continue to purchase them. You can tell that they are glass, but are not heavy, and my ears prefer the sterling silver post. You cannot go wrong with any color you decide upon. I ordered the silver (on white backing), orange (without yellow hues) and green (with blue hues).
