In the fall of 2004, I almost literally stumbled into my work making jewelry. While on a get-away trip to Saratoga, NY the sky opened up and began pouring down rain and in order to keep dry, I stepped into the first shop door I could get to. It was a darling little bead and jewelry supply studio with tables, comfy chairs, coffee and community space.
Twenty years later, I am so glad it rained that day!
My hobby became a small home-based business in 2007 and as my babies grew so did my shop! Owning a small business has given our family so much flexibility over the years and that is my hands down, my favorite part of working for myself. I love it. I wouldn't trade it. I am grateful for each and every sale and do not take for granted the trust my customers show when they add my jewelry to their cart and check out.
