Super fast shipping! Ordered on 31 Oct and received on 2 Nov!! Great communication and fast reply to email! Ear warmer is so cute and can't want for my daughter's birthday to give it to her! The not so lone ranger of the 'Action Pack'.

A memory that lasted generations.

Being from a family of five children, four girls and one boy, I have had my share of giving and receiving hand-me-downs, shopping for bargains, stocking up on supplies and all else that comes with being in a big family! Kudos to my parents for surviving all that! And as I’m now discovering for myself, it’s hard raising a family in any economy, especially in these days when people expect immediate results and the focus is on quantity and speed rather than quality and valued time! But in all this, one thing I’ve learned from growing up as one of the “Castaneda Family 7” is that good quality work is invaluable, no matter how long it takes; it’s time well spent. And good quality products were the ones that lasted longer in our family, not to mention survived being passed on from sibling to sibling. And those kinds of things are becoming harder to find.
Although I am young, I often get a nostalgic felling thinking of earlier times when things were made to last, of wood and metal, naturally durable and modest, not gaudy and plastic like we have now. So I started browsing thrift and vintage shops (many here on Etsy) and putting my childhood sewing and crocheting classes to good work. More or less satisfied with the results of many craft nights, the idea for this shop was born!

Something that lasts,
something that can be passed on,
and the memories made in between
It’s what I desire for my family
and hope to give to yours...
