Yes, we absolutely offer custom orders! Please initiate a custom order request through our shop page and we'll get working on your order based on your specifications. Due to the nature of custom orders, processing time will be longer than made to order and in stock items.

We're a single-crafter business and all items are made to order. Our current production time is 2 - 4 business days.

Our hardware is solid brass and bronze and is on the heavier side, please be aware of this when selecting leashes for smaller pets. Also, if your pet is on the cusp of a particular size and has an extreme tugging walking style, please consider sizing up.

- Standard - 1/2" rope finished with full size 4-prong brass fittings and a full size bronze clip. Suitable for pets up to 110lbs. Weighs ~14-16oz for 6ft leash.
- Standard lite - 1/2" rope finished with 2-prong brass fittings and a full or small size bronze clip. Suitable for pets up to 40lbs. Weighs ~10-12oz for 6ft leash.
- Mini - (Cotton only) 3/8' rope finished with 2-prong brass fittings and a small size bronze clip. Suitable for pets up to 25lbs. Weighs ~6-8oz for 6ft leash.
- Ultralight - (Cotton only) 1/4" rope finished with hand-spliced loops tied and sealed with natural waxed twine and our smallest solid brass clip. Suitable for pets up to 15lbs. Weighs ~2-4oz for a 6ft leash.

Because every item is made to order, we do not offer returns or exchanges unless the mistake is ours. Please take the time to review all details and policies before placing your order. If you still have questions before you order, we are more than happy to answer them!

We are human and mistakes do happen. If you are sent the wrong size, color or if there is a defect with your order, please contact us immediately. After 48 hours of delivery, we are no longer responsible for defects in the order.

All of our products are made with quality USA-manufactured materials that have been tested out on our own pups as well as those of family and friends. Our products are made to last, but are not indestructible. Rope fibers will show signs of premature wear if allowed to drag. Brass and bronze hardware can be maintained by rinsing with fresh water after being used at the ocean, clip springs can be periodically lubricated with household WD40 if needed. We are not responsible for the wear your pup puts on their leash.

As always, do not use your leash if it appears broken, frayed, or otherwise unsafe. Please contact us if you would like to recycle it and receive a discount off of a new leash.

Never use your leash as a tie-out.

Yes, we absolutely offer local pickup if you live in RI or nearby. Leave a note in message to seller that you would like to pick up in person and then we can work out details over Etsy messages. Shipping charges will be refunded once you receive the item.
