Frequently asked questions
How are the dreadlocks installed?
Most of the dreadlocks come for temporary installation. This is done by sectioning out your hair, braiding small sections of your hair around the dreadlocks, and securing with an elastic band. This is good up for up 4 weeks and can be reused. There is the option for permanent installation as well and any dreads cane easily be converted for permanent install. These would be single ended with frayed ends. The frayed end merges or felts into your natural hair to stay permanently.
Care instructions
You can wash the dreadlocks when they are installed or after removal. Always use a clear liquid soap and rinse thoroughly, milky soaps can leave residue over time.
You do not need to wash dreads while temporarily installed. Leave up in a bun while you shower and can always wash them after removal by soaking in warm soapy water and rinsing thoroughly.
Let hang dry and store. '
If dreads loosen up at all, just roll them between your hands when damp and they will tighten up again.
Sizing details
Curious what length dreadlocks you should order? Measure from the top of your head, down to the bottom of where you want the dreads to hang. Then measure again from the bottom of the hairline, too the bottom of where you wants the dreads. This gives a range so that the dreads can lay even when installed.
Why is the processing time so long?
Most of my orders are customized, made to order items. Each order is a two day process and sometimes there are up to 20 orders in the queue at a time. It's just me working from home, making 1-2 orders at a time by hand. This is way it could take a few weeks to receive your order.
You can pay for upgraded shipping to get your item a few days faster but the processing time is still 2-4 weeks due to volume of orders.
